Using HTC HD2 as your router (TMobile U.S.)

HTC HD2 can be used as wireless router to connect to the internet when there is no Wi-Fi hotspot available around the area. The procedure for setting up your HTC HD2 is relatively easy, but ensure that you have unlimited data plan.

1. Connect your HD2 to your computer with a usb cable.

1. At the home screen, hit start.
2. Select “Tools” folder.

   

3. Select “Internet Sharing”.

   

4. Under “PC Connection:”, ensure that “USB” is selected and hit “Connect” at the bottom left of the screen

   

5. If the phone is connected successfully, the status should change to “Connected.”
